Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey, born January 29, 1954, is a successful television talk show host of her self-titled program, The Oprah Winfrey Show. Winfrey is one of the wealthiest women in the world, with Forbes Magazine estimating her net worth at $1.5 billion.
Winfrey is far from finished with her projects, however. She has recently opened an academy for girls in Africa, and has taken to coordinating many charity projects. Oprah’s endorsements are said to be worth gold, as most of the products associated to her often strike it rich. Her recurrent advocacies often focuses on women’s issues, health, weight loss, and literature - and has actually even launched her own book club and magazine, entitled, “O.”
